Alright, so I'm a little bit short on time. Just about to finish work and start the weekend. Let me get an AMEN for that! Anywho, very quickly, I just wanted to address one news story swirling around the Eagles right now.

I have one thing to say. If the Philadelphia Eagles do not do everything in their power to get T.J. Houshmanzadeh in an Eagle uniform, then Jeffrey Lurie might go down as making one of the worst organizational decisions in franchise history. Housh is a downright stud. Yeah, he's 32 years old but still finished 4th(i believe) in the entire NFL in receptions. Are you kidding me? This guy goes out publicly, states he loves Reid and the Eagle franchise, and expresses a liking for the city of Philadelphia. How could you not want him on your team?

The Birds are well under the cap and can definitely afford him. Bring this guy in, get rid of Greg Lewis and Hank Baskett. You'd have Housh playing 1 and Curtis playing 2. DeSean takes a place in the slot and then you have Jason Avant as a 4. As for the 5, do what ya need to do. Maybe keep one of those guys prior mentioned or bring in someone you can get for cheap.

Oh, and Michael Smith from ESPN.. how are you going to get on television and say that Housh wants to go play for St. Louis or San Francisco? The man, himself, went on the national stage yesterday and said he wants to play for Philadelphia! It's obviously his top choice. He wants to play for a winner. Clearly not the Rams. 49ers.. eh.. maybe. But to be honest, I simply smell a California journalists' jealousy/bias.

BRING HOUSH TO PHILLY!
